Diane Locatelli Stephens, Ph.D.
Dr. Stephens earned a Ph.D. in educational studies from Lesley University and a Master’s in Education from Simmons University, with a specialization in Severe Special Needs and additional licensure in Early Childhood Education. Dr. Stephens previously taught students with moderate to severe special needs in both private and public school settings. She also gained administrative experience as the coordinator of district-wide public school programming for students with developmental disabilities and autism. As a Special Education Consultant, Dr. Stephens works with families and schools in support of student needs at the individual, classroom, and district wide level. In addition to consultative work, Dr. Stephens is an Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education and Coordinator of Student Teaching at Dean College.
